It’s 1958. The textile industry was thriving and our great-grandparents, the Noguera family, as it was called back then, decided to buy an old textile factory in the centre of Calella. They wanted to keep growing and they saw it as a great opportunity. At the time, they already had two daughters, Josefa and Benita.
A few years later, they saw that tourism was starting to boom and the first foreign holidaymakers in Calella stayed in private homes.
Being an enterprising family that loved taking on new challenges, they embarked on an adventure: they wanted to convert the factory into a small hotel. A HOTEL! Just imagine the challenge they had converting a factory into a space suitable for accommodating guests.
