Shama Spa: Calella's New Well-Being Space

Shama is the place where wellness meets a sustainable and mediterranean experience. The spa will open its doors in spring 2021, inaugurating a new well-being space in the heart of Calella. Today we are sharing new details about this new experience with you:
Sustainability
Shama seeks the balance between well-being and sustainability. This space will be equipped with ecological products, focusing its activity on the reduction of its ecological footprint. Shama's water will be treated with bromine, a natural disinfectant that does not contain salt and its negative effects. Bromine avoids the use of chlorine, maintaining a natural treatment of the water.
Mediterranean essence
Located in the heart of Calella, Shama has a unique style. Inspired by the Mediterranean Sea and its climate, this space will offer a total Mediterranean experience. Its spaces have been designed in order to transmit the calm and tranquility evoked by the sea.
The Spa
The circuit will contain highly beneficial therapies for physical and mental well-being. With a capacity for 15 people, the spa will have an independent reception managed by a dedicated human team.
Among the spaces, we highlight the main pool, equipped with multiple therapeutic elements. Its temperature of 36ºC and its cervical cannons will make you stay in it for hours. The small pool will have a temperature of 14ºC, ideal to reactivate blood circulation.
Apart from the pools, the spa will have a Finnish Sauna, Hammam, Geothermal showers, Massage area, Tea area, Relaxation room, Hydrotherapy bed, Hydrotherapeutic volcano and independent changing rooms. In addition, the massage area will include a selection of 100% vegan massages… but we are keeping this details in secret for the next few days ;)
